New Jersey Family and Consumer Science

         NJAFCS is a non-profit professional organization whose purpose is to improve the quality of individual and family life through education.  

 

The nature of family and consumer sciences and the program of the association has evolved as a result of changes of resources, family functions, culture, and the discovery of new knowledge in the basic disciplines and the application of research.  We follow the same mission and vision of our national association, AAFCS, as we educate the future of New Jersey.

 

This site is designed to help New Jersey FACS teachers find the resources that they need to develop as 21st Century educators.  There are resources available for developing lesson plans, leadership skills - educator and student, collaboration and professional development.  Use this site to further your horizons.
